Default 62 Jack

Hi,

Going thru my garage and found the jack that was in the trunk of my 62, could someone please post a picture of a 62 jack so I can tell if it's the correct one or it's just another scissor jack off who knows what??

As always, thanks in advance!!!!!

Would you consider posting pics of yours? The heads of the rivets, the ridge in the base, the bends in the arms are several key areas to look at.

Dave,

Thanks, I do indeed have a 62 jack. I also found the jack handle but it's in two pieces. I can't remember if there was a bolt/clip assy. on it.
I took that stuff out of the trunk well over forty years ago. Lug wrench is MIA but I might find it.

Since the purchase of my '62 did not include a jack, I would be more than willing to take yours off your hands for $100. I'll even pay shipping! (gotta add the goofy symbols so it's understood I'm joking!)

Nice find!

Gotcha Mike,

It's on it's way to you, 100.00 wow!!!!
I wonder what their reasoning was changing the jack for one year? Makes no sense to me.
Now I have to figure what holds the two piece handle together????
