We Are Dynamic Corvettes
WE ARE DYNAMIC CORVETTES
In 1984, I founded Dynamic Corvettes in Saginaw, Michigan. I got my start in the Corvette business at the age of 17 by sweeping the floors at "The Vette Center" in Kalamazoo for Jim Downs.
I was given the opportunity by my high school body shop teacher, Dave Delano, who also owns a 1964 Roadster. Mr. Delano and Mr. Downs were friends, and Mr. Downs was looking for some extra help in the shop. For the first two weeks, I swept the floors and kept the shop tidy.
On Friday of the second week, Mr. Downs came to me and asked, "What do you think about taking out a passenger side trailing arm out of a mid-year that has been in an accident?"
I replied, "I think I can handle that."
After an hour, I decided the best way to remove the trailing arm was to cut it out. I went up to Mr. Downs who was standing around with some of the other employees and asked, "What do you think about using the torch to cut this arm off?"
Mr. Downs and the other employees started to laugh. Mr. Downs then said, "We were wondering how long it would take you to figure out the right tool."
And the rest is history....
I left for the army and served for 3 years after graduating high school. Upon my return to Michigan in November of 1976, I returned to the Corvette shop and ended up buying the business at the age of 23.
In 1984, I started Dynamic Corvettes in Saginaw, Michigan. I had been hard at it for 11 years and learned a lot of lessons about the trade. Dynamic Corvettes started as just everyday repair and restorations, but eventually I moved into new and used parts. I started manufacturing custom fiberglass parts in the late 80's, but by the early 90's custom fiberglass was no longer in demand.
My passion is Corvettes. I am always trying to figure out a way to make a repair easier or save time on a build without sacrificing quality. I am really passionate about RestoMods and creating something new for something old.
I have been an active observer of CorvetteForum for the past couple of years and I have seen the same passion for Corvettes from the members as I have. It's not just a business to me. It is a passion and it is my life.
Today, Dynamic Corvettes serves as Mid-Michigan's premier Corvette repair and restoration facility with over 70 years experience under the roof. We have an extensive stock of N.O.S. & aftermarket parts spanning from C1 to C4.

We are emerging into the RestoMod market by creating two beautiful cars for CorvetteForum member "Beggers"
Our first RestoMod project was the 1956 Corvette that took many awards before being sold at Mecum for $175,000!
Best in Show - Old Town Motorfest 2014 | Best Two-Seater - Frankenmuth Autofest 2014 | Best Conservative Sports Compact (pre-1960) - Detroit Autorama 2015
We are currently working together with "Beggers" to create this amazing 1963 Corvette (SWC) RestoMod. We have performed all of the body and paint work on this vehicle.
1963 Corvette RestoMod
In the winter of 2014, we hired two recent high school graduates who participated in our local co-op body shop program. Corey and Tyler have been a big part of the 1963 Corvette RestoMod build by performing most of the body work and all of the paint.
The 1963 Corvette RestoMod is scheduled to be in Detroit for Autorama at the end of February. If any of you fellow members are close enough, you should come see what we have done with this vehicle. We will be posting photos of the car at Cobo Hall that weekend.
We will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have, but replies will be limited to once a day.

I have one very nit-picky suggestion for you which you are free to ignore. The red background on your web pages makes it very hard for these 70 year old eyes to read the text.

Pictured below is our custom 1 piece fiberglass front end. This front end also features our 1 1/2 inch flares already built into the fenders. Included with the front end are the headlight support "pork chops" and the header bar, already installed.

We also offer custom fiberglass headlight bucket eliminators. These are great for making custom headlight applications or for eliminating the headlights all together for racing. Our headlight buckets are built so it appears that the bezel is installed.

Just thought I'd add another product that we offer. Lately, I have been seeing a lot of talk about engine compartments and how it will make or break your vehicle. Well I have something special for all of you.
This is our custom fiberglass close out panel that we make in house. Scribed in sections so easy to trim to custom applications.
Here it is installed in "Beggers" 1963 Corvette RestoMod
