The "best" place to really understand the Grand Sport is ON TRACK, watching them move around on turn exit, and musceling Cobras out of the way

The Corvette got a lot of attention in lap one. Not so much after that.

I always enjoy watching this video of Bruce Canepa taking ole' #004 through her paces at Laguna Seca in '13:
Some Cobras were hurt in the making of this video...

Yes!!! Great video, and you make my point This video shows Bruce's prowess (and my deficiencies) as he uses the GrandSport to pass most of his competitors (including me, #63), catching me at the top of the corkscrew at 14:15, and passing me in turn 8A at the bottom of the corkscrew at 14:27. Yes, I lost my coolant and was overheating (smoking), but I had a great view of the Grand Sport in action.

That was you, I should have noticed from your signature pictures!
I would not dare racing my '66, I waited long enough to be in a position to have one so the fear of damaging it would take all the fun away... Kudos for racing your C2! Participating in a competition on this circuit with such a lineup must be unique!
