I replaced the wiring harness in my 63 and now when I turn on the ignition the left turn signal turns on.

HOW MANY of the wiring harnesses did you replace...and IF you did not replace them all...which ones did you replace.

And I am ASSUMING that you are referring to the light in the dash for your left turn signal is lighting up.....CORRECT????

Could be a 1/2 dozen things...perhaps you plugged the emergency brake warning dash light bulb into the turn signal bulb's position, and, with emergency brake on and key on, it starts flashing.

Go back and recheck your work, wire-by-wire...

What happens if you turn the signal to the right and turn on the key?

I think the left turn signal bulb in the dash is glowing just by the key being on ...from what he wrote...and not that the turn signal lever is set for the left signal.

I feel that there is a ground issue for the left front turn signal wiring... or a bulb in wrong.

I usually see this problem when the headlight switch is pulled...
