Thanks irwiny for the clip info. I'm going to do a search and see if I can possibly find an instructional video someone may have made. I'm a little nervous, but confident I can get this accomplished.

This web link helped me quite a bit. I didn't complete the last step in inserting the sealant between the glass and gasket (top & sides) since my car doesn't get wet. I was so happy with before and after already results.
Remember to do to trim dry fit before you install back the windshield, slowly do this project and when your frustrated take a break. It's not easy but doable when you take your time. It's a two/three person job to remove/install windshield. The rest can be done by yourself. After spending about $200 for the gasket, trim, trim removal & glass suction/handling tool and couple tubes of 3M windshield sealants.
Whatever you do, try not to bring your car to a shop that does windshield repairs. They will most likely do a bad job and use a tube of sealant to hold the trims in. No sealer is needed between the trims and clips.
Removed windshield today and was surprised to find that nearly every single clip has disintegrated. Complete pinch weld on car is 100% solid, but clips were just almost unrecognizable. Glad I ordered the good American made clips from Paragon.

I know your pain......
Here are the clips I removed that were Made In Taiwan. The previous owner paid Bubba to install them along with a XL tube on sealant 2-3 years ago.
The funny thing is I'm ABC (American born Chinese) and my wife is from Taiwan. You should she her expression when I complain about these bad clips ....

That's funny. Nothing wrong with the Asian race, my dentist is ABC and my karate instructor is ABJ (American Born Japanese). Both great guys!
I don't even blame the Chinese manufacturers for the POS parts they send. I blame the vendors who purchase and sell this crap to us!
