Default 63 Corvette Engine numbers help Please

I have a 63 Corvette Split Window and I'm trying to figure out what these numbers mean. The 3782870 number I can find info on but I can't find anything on the other numbers. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

This number near transmission on the driver side

These numbers are in front on the passenger side cylinder head.

The engine came out of a 1965 Corvette with a partial VIN of 19,158. The engine was born a 327/300 HP with manual trans and was assembled on May 25, 1965.

The HF suffix was used in 1965 on the 327 300 hp engine. Also a 3782870 block.
The number to the left would normally indicate the vin derivative in this case the 19,158 th Corvette built that year, 1965 I believe.

Good luck... GUSTO

Looks like Larry beat me to it...

It's been a slow morning, but now I have to get going on my chores. The sun finally came out after many days of rain. Probably won't be back until later tonight.

It's not listed on the C2 registry.

It that's the case (very possible) the old 327/300 HP will be worth even more to the 396 car owner. He will buy it for $$$$$ just so he can grind the numbers off.

You could list this engine with VIN and photos in the "ORPHAN VIN stamped parts" thread, found in the Sticky section at the top of the main page.

If the owner of that VIN 1965 ran across it, you could make a new friend.
