New Tachometer Cable Question
My tach cable (C2) broke. When I install the new one, I will grease the tach drive gears, but should I do anything with the cable itself inside the sleeve? Does it require and lubrication or does it just stay "as is"?

You can lube that cable. I used a product called SylGlide from NAPA. It has a lot of uses including speedo and tach cables. Whatever you use, use it sparingly. More is not better. Too much lube and it can walk the cable and into your head unit where you do not want it.
