We are restoring a '62 Corvette. When we got the car there were some extra parts. One was the hood shown here. There is no doubt that it is pretty ugly. I think that the original top was taken off and the hood was modified with the scoop that is in the front. I think then someone added the two other scoops. It is unique for sure. The top could be taken off and a new stock top added. It is an original '61/'62 hood. Wonder what the asking price should be? Tks.
It is so ugly you might have to pay somebody to take it. You ought to be mad at the guy who conned you into hauling it away for him. As far as an asking price? Ask the guy who sold it to you to take it back.

I might put it on the wall. We are restoring a '62 for a lady whose husband had died before he could restore it himself: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...oratation.html
They also had a '61 in storage facility, body/frame/some parts. We cleaned it up and sold it for $20k. There was a third hood (nicer) and we sold that for $800. We still have a number of parts (eng block, 3 sets of heads, convertible top frame, more) that we plan to sell.
