Hey Wallyknoch, I have heard of ainstalling an electric sol. valve before. Can you lead me in the right direction as far as what brand/type and where one might be available? Thanks, Chris :flag

These fuel shut off valves are a great idea. I have one on my 62 and I sleep a lot better now. You can buy these as kits from John DeGregory or Jack Podell or even Paragon sells them. It's a worthwhile investment. Rich

I hav a friend that use nitros on his race car and he brought over several for me to look at. I found a small switch that was 1/4 in and out which is the size of the line from the injector to the spider, carefully cut the line and hooked the electric to my choke. This was done as it can hardly be seen unless pointed out to the viewer. Works perfect. Key off switch off, key on fuel. No more busted engines from fuel loading up in the cylinders. Most of my friends with injection have or will without the FIX hydraulic the engine. There is a check ball on the fuel meter but it will stick if the car is not driven. I have had friends give me two units and both were stuck. After the last break I checked mine and it too was stuck. Thats when I decided NO MORE and got the valve from my friend. As I understand most of the FI rebuilders now sell something similar to what I did. I have never personally seen one of them, but I liked my fix as it was simple and out of sight.l :lol: Wally Knoch :D
