I am installing a new wiring harness in my 65. I am using an American AutoWire generic kit. I ran my headlight motor wires. From the wiring diagram it looks like the green wire goes to the cross part of the "T" that the 2 terminals make at the motor connectors. I wired both motors that way. The left motor goes up and the right motor goes down when the switch is operated in the up position. Opposite in the down direction. So I switch the wires at the right motor and fixed the problem. Question is, is that the way they were wired for the factory? Reversed at the motors?

Hi Tom,
You are correct with the wiring being switched at the motors. The reason is the motors are installed in the car in opposite directions.
