Default 66 blinker working but not brake light!

So driving home yesterday my friend calls me and says my driver side brake light is not working. However, the blinker is. I pulled the light and it looks fine. Anyone else had this prob? Thanks!

Cycle your turn signal arm back and forth from left to right several times.

The rear lights have specific paths and common and uncommon components. If you'll list EXACTLY what works and doesn't, you can get a good answer as what to check. Be specific, both tail lights, both brake lights, both turn signals, or one of which ones, none of which ones.
Turn signals and brakes have no common path with tail lights except ground, so say which you have and don't have.

OK, here goes:
Step on brakes - passenger brake light only lights up.
Right blinker works
Left blinker works
When I turned on the lights only the driver side brake light lit up.

Ay yi yi! Help!

I assume you meant "only the driver's tail light". The brake lights and tail lamps are different filaments within the bulb. So let's try to clarify, when you step on the brake, the passenger side lights up but not the driver's?
When you turn on the lights, the driver's side lights up, but not the passenger?
If so, you have two different problems. One option is you have the wrong bulbs in the sockets. Another is, you have a broken wire to the passenger side tail lamp, AND a problem with the driver's side brake lamp. If the turn signals work on both sides, you can eliminate grounds and brake light wiring and bulbs.
I promise I'll try to help if you'll double check what works and doesn't and be specific whether it's the tail lamp or brake lamp on each side that isn't working. It makes a lot of difference.

kryan's problem turned out to be rust in rear bulb sockets.
