What do you mean by rebuilding the dash. Do you want replace, re skin or dye the pads and center drop? Are you meaning the gauge cluster removal or repaint or gauges rebuilt or just cleaned?
Please Be more specific about your wishes and you will get the help you need.

I guess you mean the gauge cluster. Yes, it has been covered and included in the "Sticky" FAQ c-1/c-2 section above. Don't forget, this basic task has led to complete body off restorations. Dennis I have done my own cluster twice in 43 years.
Restoration of the cluster will take care of the fading and odometer. The fuel gauge could be the tank sending unit inside the gas tank. The tach could be the cable or internally at the distributor. Requires further inspection before putting the blame in the cluster.
Bill Harrison out of Florida or Corvette Specialties on the left coast can do it....
If you haven't already searched and found John Hinckley's two part article on removing the cluster step-by-step; I'll repost it here....
Yes, you can make the cluster look pretty yourself with paint and polish - but if you want a complete 'redo' including gauge calibration there are special tools for that which the top restorers have...

Check out this link under "instruments/gauges" if you want to do some of the cluster work yourself. You can still send parts out for repair. http://lbfun.com/Corvette/Tech/vettetech.html
You can do a lot of the 'external' stuff on the gauge housing (BEEN THERE DONE THAT)...but IIRC magnetizing the speedometer "cup" and calibration are "specialist" tasks....others will correct me if I'm wrong...
