Here's what I found with a quick search:

Follow the instructions with the following exceptions:

1. Your choke is not electric, but is adjusted in the same way.

2. With cold engine, loosen 3 screws on choke cover (that black "chose" on the passenger side), keep throttle slightly depressed, and rotate cover until choke valve (flapper on top of carburetor) JUST closes..

3. Put fast idle cam on SECOND step. and adjust cold idle to 1500 RPM.

With engine HOT, adjust idle speed to 750-800 RPM. Idle speed screw is on opposite side of carb, on the throttle lever. If you need a picture I'll try to get you one.

BTW: I didn't know you were French or living in France..........couldn't find anything in your profile, but assumed that you were not American by your writing style (don't be offended. I mean that in a GOOD way). Anyways, you might like this:

What 65Triple Black above says. Be careful under the hood around moving parts.

Set the cold setting with the choke just closed first, then set the cold idle screw. Next, make sure that the throttle kick down works after the engine warms up and set the warm idle.

This all presumes that your ignition is set right (dwell, points, timing, vacuum), and that your carb was set up correctly (e.g. jetted correctly for that beast).

Let's just say that either (1) you don't have hydraulic roller lifters or (2) the cam on the spec card is not the one installed in your engine. Flat tappet cams, whether hydraulic or solid have a slight taper on each lobe so that the lifters will rotate from contact with the cam lobe. I'd guess is roller lifters wouldn't last too long on tapered cam lobes. Roller cams have non-tapered (flat) lobe surfaces to make good contact with most of the surface of the roller.
