I bet your PowerGlide has provisions for an oil cooler which are just stubbed off..... if you were tempted to employ the cooler in that radiator.
Jim, is it possible to run an old P.G. with the lines plugged? One would think you would need to run a hose between at least. Years ago we had a '63 Impala with a 6/glide. The pg was air cooled. Big air flow holes in the bellhousing area. Only one I had ever seen.

I'm not an expert on PowerGlides.
However, last time I crawled under my '54, I recall seeing a couple of pipe plugs in the passenger side of the PowerGlide transmission. It's an unmolested, unrestored car, so those have to be factory.
