I need a source for 12V with key on AND while cranking. This is on my 64 w/o AC.

For what purpose....current draw is a factor; A/C compressor is a different beast than an electric choke..?

Check your fuse panel.
IIRC the power windows were HOT all the time. There may be other points on the box also readily available.

Haven't tested yet, but is the pink wire on switch hot, when switch is on and cranking??

Inline fuse to the lug on the horn relay. Problem solved

Mine is, and I believe they were meant to be that way. Some claim they lose power to the pink wire when cranking, but I'm thinking they have a faulty switch.

Another choice for power would be the "brake alarm/gas gauge" fuse, top one in the panel. You just need a 'fuse tap'.
