There is difference between useful posts, and BS posts in OT. I sometimes think the post count should differentiate and sort out the OT posts.

Not me I don't post much I'm more of a reader. Plus nobody want to hear what I have to say
Most time when I post in a thread it dies. I close the door and turn out the light.

OT is full of one or two word responses by a lot of idle fools, so who really cares. If you have nothing important to say, don't say anything at all!

I rarely go anywhere but c1/c2 and once in a while c3 General. I admit to sometimes refreshing the forum like a young lad casts off the dock- which is to say way too often, just hoping for a juicy new topic.

I have never looked at the OT thread.
I just did and I will not ever look again.
There is a topic about Vietnam Vets. Most agree if you were in country you are a Vietnam Vet. I was in the CT Army National for 6 years during the Vietnam Era and I don't consider myself a Vietnam Vet.
One as%hole stated that most soldiers killed in Vietnam were clerks. So sad that only clerks were killed.
WTF is wrong with that guy??????
Sorry about my RANT.

Off Topic does have a LOT of BS, attention ******, and downright juvenile posts. And they tend to be merciless if you don't have a thick skin or if you show any sign of being butt-hurt.
BUT - there is a wealth of knowledge among that group and I have gotten an incredible amount of good advice. Plumbing, electrical, general home repair, auto trouble-shooting, firearms, appliance questions, pets, legal, medical, food-related, you name it.
If you ask something on there you will likely get good info and perhaps with a few sarcastic posts. Ignore the trolls, don't take the bait, and you'll do fine.
Now PR&C - I stay away from that place!
