That has to be a very small hose. I can't see how the prong with a hose pushed on would fit through the holes in the deck.
I wonder if melting some wax on the prongs would work.

Well you slip hose on AFTER you put emblem on, one will hold it in place 66racer

The emblem did come with four black plastic covers that kind of look like thick condoms. After trying to find some right sized speed nuts at PepBoys and failing, we cut the "condoms" applied some "Goop" to them and reattached under the nose. Unfortunately, could only get to two prongs but it appears to be working.

Both of my side flag emblems and the nose flag emblem are nutted on. My painter provided some barrel clips that fit over the rear Sting Ray emblem stubs. These barrel clips have little wings that spread out to catch the mounting holes. The emblem is easily and carefully removed for waxing. I do not know the official name of these clips.

Most every company that supplies badges, lapel pins, etc., also supplies retainers in many forms including a soft plastic or rubber formulation. Here's one such company grabbed at random off the web - a search will reveal many more.

All this to avoid putting some speed nuts on and a little detail cleaning.
Along with possible loss of emblem and paint damage...

I'm not 'getting it'...
