Default Engine Compartment

So I'm repainting my engine compartment and I'm not sure how good of a job I should do. My OCD starts to kick in and I want to make it look pristine but I have a feeling they didn't come that way from the factory. So I'm looking for some input as to how far to go. Do I leave the small little holes and grooves (imperfections) in the fiberglass or do I fill them and make it look real nice ?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thank you

I'm not sure anybody here can tell you what level of restoration you should do on YOUR engine compartment... I detailed mine but did not touch up any factor appearing imperfections.

You can do a pretty amazing job without even removing components.

Mine isn't perfect but it looks pretty good for a driver. I'll be making the 500 mile drive to Port Canaveral for their show on 4/8.
