also made the bracket to hold the generator
And with the great help of fellow CF member Jim (jrm5657)
for taking the time to get me the needed measurements and drawings
for the the early 56 sparkplug shielding. and sending me his shielding brackets (in need of repair in return) i was able to make exact copy's of the 4 shields and brackets

Wow. You do great work, and you sure seem to get a lot done in a short amount of time.
Do you restore cars for your own personal use, or do you sell them when they're done?

Sander,
The engine looks great, and of course the shielding is spot on. Be sure to post a picture after the shielding is chromed. Glad I could help with the drawings and original brackets!!

Fantastic! At one point years ago I had a '56 but never would have made it as nice as what you are accomplishing.
Not taking anything away from your '56. but could you give us a shot or two of that blue '58 as well? Thanks!

Spectacular work; that engine is a piece of art by itself!
There isn't anything I like to see better than top notch C1 restorations.

Viewing your pics makes me realize what a novice I am when it comes to restoration. Fabricating parts rather than obtaining repros is another dimension in the restoration process.
Great work!
