ok while going thru my powder coated parts I fond this? I have no idea where it goes or what it is. Or even if it is for my 65. Give me your thoughts guys ! Thanks Troy
Also this long strip that is not powder coated yet??
first piece appears to be a shortened version of the upper rocker moulding strip.
The second piece is the wiring cover that is on the interior, under the carpet running down the sill. There is one on each side, only the driver side actually covers the rear wiring harness.

I believe jrm5657 has it right. The bottom pic is definitely the carpet support and the wires to the rear of the car run under it.
Your first pic is probably a piece of rocker moulding retainer strip. It is attached the body and the rocker panel sort of clips over the top of it and then swings down so you can attach the bottom to the rocker moulding brackets.
I agree with the assessments; sort of odd pieces to powder coat but yeah...rocker molding support bar and interior wiring "rat run" get my vote.
i agree with you frankie! when i got my car it had standing water in the floor boards up to the sills frozen.when i thawed it out, and i just ripped the seats and carpet out. that wire gutter was rusted to the carpet. and the mounting tabs were shot. so i never seen how it was used or mounted. but now i understand, and you all sparked my memory on were it came from thank you. the short piece just looked like it was important, and should be painted. so it went in the box too the powder coat. it is a useless part i guess since it is cut. so in the trash it goes. now i need a different gutter strip, since mine was rusted to the carpet, it ended up with a hole in it.. so if anyone has a extra laying around let me know.. thanks all troy
