I would like to install a momentary contact switch in the ignition switch starter circuit so when i turn the ignition switch to the start position and push the hidden switch it will start . what wire do i interupt to install the pushbutton switch ? I have a 65 vert with a ballasted coil (no ballast on the firewall). Thanks .

If you have a factory engine wiring harness, there should be a 12 gauge purple wire with an exposed connector hung near the top of the firewall just outboard of the wiper motor. You can connect a hidden switch between the ends of that connector when it's unplugged.
