Believe I have pics of that car from the 1967 custom car show in NYC. Saw it some years later on rt 9 in Lakewood Nj.

It is not the same car. quite similar though, notice the 62 with all the tail lights

I don't think it's all that bad. Besides the body looks stock so it's not a hopeless situation.
