It's the 248th day of the year "6"...

Probably 1976.............since by then most of the original factory carbs were worn out. The type of fuel bowl bolts can help in dating, since more recent carbs have these bolts with hex heads and not slotted screw heads.

The dates on the metering plates and baseplate, etc. may also help in the exact dating if they were part of the "replacement" carb.
