Obviously the VIN plate has been spot welded back into place or into place recently, but what is up with the hole on the bottom that is half covered by the VIN plate?

It looks like a 63 to me...coves in the roof are correct, one year only parking brake cable coming out of the firewall, a pillar moldings, and hard mounted to the frame.

I was just thinking of how proud of myself I was when I patched and rebuilt the heater box and got all the vent/heater/fan controls working again. I would have an aneurysm trying to sort that mess out.

To do it correctly and make a quality car out of this one, it would take at least 2500 hours once all labor and parts searching was involved.
