First time I've ever heard "Fresh from a salvage yard where it has been sitting for 30 years" posted in an ad as a good thing. Jeez, what a MESS. And what an ambitious seller!
Without the split and all of the pricey one year only parts (major hit in this area -- e.g. one-year-only doors) the price difference may not be worth mentioning. If it were a Z-06 or a Mickey Thompson car it might be different...
A few years ago I was offered a '67 coupe. The only problem was the front half was from one car and the rear from another. It was cut right through the centre of the roof. No frame but did have some of the garnish mouldings. At the time it was $15k. I had no idea how you would graft the front from one car to the rear of another.
Compared the the eBay ad listed, this would have been a bargain.
OK, next question... assume this car is a 64 coupe instead of a 63.
What is the estimated value / sale price then?
Just trying to figure out the delta for a 63 coupe.
It looks like someone cut out a much larger section of the rear windows than just the center split bar. The cut goes forward all the way to the fake vents on the pillar. That's a lot more serious.

That new chassis looks like a piece of garbage. Just my opinion. I don't see it adding any value to the bodies, but that's seems to be this guys method of selling them on eBay. He always pairs a really crappy body with one of his frames.
