I am installing a Jim Meyer front IFS in my 61. The power steering rack bolts up - no problem. However, the plumbing is a very real problem. The space below the chassis is too small to allow a hose fitting on the -6 AN fitting/adaptor on the rack. I'd like to find a 90 degree power steering gear fitting to replace the existing straight fittings. I can't find them. Threads on the pressure side are 9/16-18 and on the low pressure side are 5/8-18. Any help locating appropriate fitting/adaptors (I think 90 degree) would be greatly appreciated.
I wish you would fill out your Public Profile...no need to be specific...just so we know if you are in the USA or somewhere else.
Hopefully you try to contact GOODRIDGE. There is one in Mooresville NC which is up from me and they carry a lot of fittings and can custom make fluid application needs.
If I were in this situation..I would NOT hesitate to call the guys up there.
