Default Modified intake manifold
Someone modified the intake manifold on my 65 327 365hp. They cut open the entire carb opening. Does this have an effect on performance?

yes it does, if I remember correctly it decreases low end and increases extreme high end...

a better idea that wasn't a good idea to begin with...

Not the end of the world ! It takes some torque away from the bottom and puts some hp up top. Still driveable.

sad part is, unless the car is geared right, the 365 is a bit shy on low end to start with....
