Lets see your C1 with aftermarket wheels
I am trying to decide what kind of wheels I would like on my 57.
Lets see what you have.

Suggestion.......try google images "modified C1 Corvettes". You'll see some examples.

This is something I've been thinking about myself. The best Idea I see out there are billet wheels that look like hub caps. Unless it's a complete restomod, which my 59 will not be, close to stock looks best.
I like these for a 59 anyway.

Can't go wrong with American Racing Torque Thrust originals or 'D's.....or Cragars, either. As long as they stay 15". These cars need tires with a sidewall on them to look good.

Everyone has Cragars and TT. Try to do something different.

I currently have 15”x6” steel wheels with 225/70R wide white wall radials tires on the rear and 205/78R on the front with the stock wheel covers.
When I put day II type wheels on they will be 15" x 6" black wall radials. I like to keep with an original looking profile, no low profile tires and big wheels for me.
I have been thinking about Keystone Klassics. I had a set on a 71 Corvette and always loved them but have never seen a set on a C1.

Good friend (actually a vendor here ) has a new set of Tru Spokes in the box up in his attic not sure what size they are....
Chrome reverse, plain painted steelies, spun centerlines, so much to choose from. Set your own trend

Advanced
I debated about aftermarket, but decided to use 15" Chevy rally wheels painted body color with 215/70 blackwall radials. I have spyders for centers, but I am probably going to put flat rally caps on with Corvette 2-bar spinners.

I've had all kinds of wheels on my Vettes and I've come full circle back to stock Corvette stuff, albeit not the same year as the 62. 68 7in. wheels, and 66 hubcaps. The only thing I might do is paint the rim mat black between the tire and the cap to make it stand out more.

How do you fit 9" wheels in the rear? suspension change?
