the Tee fitting takes the fat one, 3/4". Make the Tee 45* to level, and cut the stubby hose stubby, i.e. 2 1/16-1/8" long.

I take it your intake heat runners aren't blocked off. You have some serious paint burn off there.

Leif-
According to others who were there when these were built, the 45 angle is specified in the AIM in order to cant the hoses well up above the battery hold down nut, and perhaps the Posi post. If you check your AIM, you will see the diagram specifically calls for the angle. Few seem to set it that way, and fewer still make the stubby hose so short. Doing so pulls the hoses well away from the ram's horn.

I'll have to look at the '67 AIM to see if this angle holds true for an A/C car, what with the battery being on the other side. The stubby hose makes complete sense to keep the hoses as clear as possible from the exhaust manifold...thanks for your knowledgeable reply

Leif I imagine that the routing is quite different for AC cars. Too much AC equipment wedged in the space to allow the hoses to route up high. But then I have not studied this on AC cars.
