Finalist 2022 C1 of the Year - Modified
Nice story. My Father owned his 57 for 55 years, I just drove it home a week ago, unless I live to 105 I won't own it as long as him!

Cool story. My dad owned his 61 for 50 years when he passed away. I've had it for 6 since then.
I'll have to make it to 96 to top that.

Started driving my 59 in the spring of 67, I was a senior in high school, older brother originally bought it in the spring of 61. Still on the road and just as much fun to drive now as it's was then.

Great story. Brought back many memories for me as I bought my 61 as a 24 year old kid in January of 71. Working on those 50 years (and they are passing quickly). If I'm still alive in 2021, i'll make that golden number too and can say I have enjoyed every ride the car and i have taken. Still, at age 70, the thrill is there. Just a car guy at heart. Ride on

My dad owned his 64 Coupe fuelie since 66 until his passing in may. It's now in my garage awaiting the fall when I have time to get it running again. I have no intention of letting the car leave the family.

Great story......
I am passing my 65 on to my oldest son who just turned 48 as it has been a part of his life since before he was born.
I have had it for 50 years also, and I want him to have it before he takes the keys away from me !!
I hope he will pass it on to my grandsons, the oldest is 14 so I should have a hand it teaching them Defensive Driving

40-50 years ownership is not that unusual. Our 63 coupe has been with us since the mid 70s. I like new homes. Were on our fourth. I build a different design each time. Sneaking in an oversize garage. That is a challenge .
