Default 1960 Corvette - Best Scottsdale/Phoenix service place?

Hi. We are in Scottsdale and have just purchased a 1960 Corvette. It's in great condition apart from a couple of potential wiring issues (1 head light and 1 tail light not working as they should). We'd like to get it fully serviced and speak to someone who really knows this car/cars of its era so we can learn more about taking care of it. Any help much appreciated.

Why would the C1/C2 forum be wrong? Dick Adam, north of Carefree Highway on 16th street; may be phonebooked under Specialty Cars - has an untouched '60 270 HP in the 1200 VIN range as well as a 65 350HP, 69 435/AT, etc.

Howard's Corvettes in Mesa. 480-898-1900. Howard is completely trustworthy, and he started working on Corvettes in about 1959. He knows Corvettes.

Because this thread was originally posted in the C6 forum, prior to being moved here.

Patience and $$ also required with Howard.

Good work by someone who knows what they are doing is never cheap. Most of us have a lot of money tied up in these things. Like LynneO, I only want someone who has been there before to touch my car. In 58+ years of working on Corvettes, Howard has seen it all. Probably no one in the USA has more experience.

Patience? If you have a timetable, check with Howard. LynneO's wiring issue might or might not take some time. Howard is a great guy, but he has no time for people who just want to argue. Bring your car to him and he'll tell you what it takes to really fix it. If you don't like what he says, you can take it somewhere else.

It is unreasonable to expect people who work on Corvettes for a living to work for free, and to sell quality, correct parts for cheap.
