Wow- looks great! That's a lot more than I expected you were going to do with the car when you originally purchased it!
Well, I took the car in to have the hood adjusted and from there we found many issues that needed to be addressed. I made the decision to go full-bore and have a Concourse restoration done since I am very attached to this car. Here is why..... this car came off of the line 50 years earlier TO THE DAY from when my son was born. My parents graduated high school in 65 and my mom has the same birthday as my son and now this car. Crazy right? What are the odds?
Anyway, I spent way too much, however, I am so happy that I chose to have this restoration done the right way. It's going to be great! To lessen the blow, all monies paid into this restoration will be a write off since my "pension plan" owes this car. There is tax loop-hole that allows you to own a historic vehicle (just not as a daily driver) and any and all costs are tax deductible through a defined benefit pension plan. Just like stocks, gold coins, etc.

Jack. I assume you've already done it, but if you haven't, it's a great time to do brake lines, fuel lines, gas tank. Wheel bearings, calipers etc can be done anytime, but while you're at it. It was back in 94 to 96 I did my frame off of my 65. This brings back alot of memories, not all good
After about a year and a half restoration, it's finally in the paint shop. 65 L76. Concourse frame off restoration. The motor was completely rebuilt as well.

Replaced the calipers with correct dated ones, new fuel lines, wiring harnesses, correctly dated windows all around. The gas tank was okay.
