My car was originally sold in Montreal, at Clermont Chevrolet.
I've looked, but never found a tag ring from back in the day.
Sure wish I could. I currently have one of the old cast rings that has Corvette at the top, and Sting Ray across the bottom. Used to see them everywhere...
Sorry no pics.

The car is back in Europe now, in the Netherlands, and sold recently there for $700,000 (I paid $8,000 for it in Italy in 1971).

I have a couple of great sets of plates from Harry Mann that I've collected over the years. With one of those sets being on my car, a Marina blue 67 L71 coupe.

I don't think so Ara.
Felix Chev in Los Angeles is what you have seen. They are very common.
Felix in NOLA? Never seen or heard of it.

I figure that was the case. I search every now and then and find nothing. The same can be said for a dealer I live twenty miles from that sold my Chevelle new. I can't find nothing so I know the feeling. The search goes on

I've collected the diecast ones for a while.
Old aftermarket on my '58 Vette and a dealer on the '61 Impala.

Some dealerships didn't have license plate frames. My 67 came from Hemel Chevy in Colen MI. and are still in business & I talked to a guy that worked there a long time & he said that they never had them. He did send me 2 old dealer key chains he had & 2 current decals that they put on the back of the cars they sell. I do have a original Harry Mann Corvette frame that is on my 65 that came from there.

Anyhow a couple years ago I saw on ebay some NOS chrome license plate frames from Colon---I think the Chevy dealer was Avery's back then maybe? Vender was someone from the next town over (Bronson). I'll do some asking and see what I can come up with.
Though pricy Mad Max has a pair: http://shop.madmaxsauthenticplates.c...3plqscsfapp005
And a real pricy one on ebay now: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Old-Averys-C...5Txx78&vxp=mtr
Seems like the ones I saw that were here locally were $20 or something.
I can run an ad in the local Shoppers guide-----I need to put an ad in there anyway for a Ford dealer frame.

Harry Mann Corvette frames are the holy grail for Vettes. There are a couple of sets on Ebay now for serious $. From what I hear, the seller used to work at HM and has a number of them.
I found a new-in-package Kenneth Chevrolet, Hawthorne California frame a couple of years ago. I worked there as a kid in the 60's.
I'd like to find a Vasek Polak Porsche, Hermosa Beach California and a Brokaw Chevrolet Hermosa Beach California/
