Last Drive B/4 Snow
Hi Guys,
Thought I’d share a couple of videos taken last Friday.
This 1st one is just after startup, idling in the drive. Temps were in the low 30’s, falling into the 20’s that night. Scull cap, gloves, layered sweat shirts and heater full blast...and Christmas music playin’!
Enjoy!
After that spirited run, here she is, warmed up, idling in the garage...did I mention I love those old school solid lifters
For your enjoyment!
Regards,
Jim

In Colorado there is no ‘last drive before snow’. The streets are rarely in slick/wet condition for more than 10 days in a row (city – urban front range areas).
Was 65 deg last Sunday!
Beautiful car by the way.

ricks327,
So right you are Rick. I'm a "Jack" wannabe, How's that new C7?
Colo63sw,
I envy your year round driving weather. Me, as long as the roads are dry, I'm firing her up for a drive Thanks for the comment on her! She's a great driver.
Biggus Blockus,
Thanks! She has 3" OD, 2 1/2" ID Sweet Thunder GNM's (Give No Mercy) side exhaust with a complete undercar, 2 1/2" ID, mandrel bent undercar system. Has an "H" pipe and shorty Dynamax mufflers. Connecting these 2 systems togther are a set of Doug's electric gated cutouts. I put this system in place back in 2012.

Very cool set up. I have the give no mercy side pipes on my big block 65. They are awesome. They do get to be a little much on a long cruise and I find myself wishing I had a quieter system.

Jim, your car looks and sounds great. I put my hardtop on last weekend and will continue enjoying the car through the winter.

Love that sound and your corvette is stunning! With the roads now white with salt, 12/3/17 may have been the last drive of the year:

I never put them away completely, just in case I can sneak one out when the roads are clear and dry. Going out today before I head to Fla.
