65 GTO had a pale yellow called something or other maize. May be the same as the 67 pale yellow.
Mayfair Maize. In '66 the same color was called Candlelight Creme. Neat color on any of these old cars, especially with the greenish Soft Ray tinted glass and a black interior. Super sharp, IMO.
I'm fortunate to have both a '66 and a '67 Sunfire Yellow coupe - the '66 is the correct color:
But the '67 was not - so it is currently being repainted:
The '67 had way too much green in it, and whenever the two cars were close to one another it looked really bad. Also fixing some paint defects and getting door gaps adjusted at the same time.
