I built it using all MA parts from the bird cage up. The chassis is also MA. I still have all the build details and some photos. Have fun with it. That is a true over the counter L88. I bought it up in Troy from a guy that bought it new in 1970 for a boat and never used it. It was on an eng stand all those years.

Make sure you run race fuel. The motor has 12.1 pistons.
Thanks for the input and information! I'd love to have the build photos and details. I'll correct my mistaken information. And I will definitely run race fuel in it...all Rick has run in it is Sunoco 110.

Anything you need to know I'll try to help you out. I'v built alot of cars since that one but I seem to remember the details about that car well. I still have the orig. rear clip from the burned 63 fuel car I started with.

If you can search my posts from way back you should find some build pics.

That is my favorite build.

A while back, photobucket got greedy and what you have discovered is the result of their greed. If you want any previously posted pictures, best to email or PM the OP of the thread in which the pictures appeared and request copies.

As Jim stated I to have always been a GS fan. I'm a Corvette guy at heart and most of my builds and restorations have been Corvettes. BillGS is on this site. He has the D&D coupe I built before your new ride. He has done some great mods to the car and still owns it as far as I know. Check him out. Bill is a great guy.

CONGRATULATIONS!!
History can be brought back, so others can look at it and enjoy. Some cars, just the shape and form, others clearly almost identical. Otherwise it will be a rare sighting to catch a glimpse of one of the 5 originals on the road.

I've looked at this car most every week on Jim Gessners site, it is beautiful. No fluff, no stuff it shouldn't have on it, just a nasty GS replica. I think you made a fantastic purchase. Now I don't have to stare at the pictures any longer. I hope to see it one day.

Really a beautiful car. Enjoy it! I don't think you will be sneaking home in the middle of the night without everyone knowing about it. Jerry

I had that tab open on my browser at all times until I pulled the trigger. You can see it when I bring it to the Corvette Invasion at COTA this summer!
