CL is a haven for bottom of the barrel people, have found selling is about impossible on there,; sorting through scams thugs people who want to rob you or gather personal info its too much of a headache to deal with anymore. Most car sites are winding up that way also that used to be known for more legit stuff.
After one email I insist on calls only that will tell you the rest. Ignore texts.

I dont post a phone and ask anyone interested to leave their phone number in a email and I will call them back.
I always put CASH IN PERSON unless its a big item than its at the bank.
Its all common sense.
You can always meet at a Police Station parking lot for safety.
You do get scammers and low ballers but you get the same on most sights and CL is FREE
