Default Added to the collection

Added to my little corvette collection yesterday, picking up
the first C1 that my wife and I have ever owned. We currently have a ‘15z06, ‘03 anniversary edition, ‘96 collector edition, ‘79 L82, ‘63 roadster, and now this ‘56. She doesn’t quite handle like the later models but boy oh boy, she does have a little power! There’s something pretty sweet about tootling through the neighborhood in a little piece of American History like this. Really love this car, and glad to finally own a C1!

Yes, they are definitely different to drive compared to C2s--up but they are fun and wait until you get the "boy, that sure is cool, what is it?" questions.

Love this car. Can’t wait for nice weather and maybe a trip to the drive in.

Congrats! The '56-'57 IMO has always been the most cleanly styled C1. Someday I hope to own one. My '61 wasn't my first choice but has grown on me a whole lot. C1's are crude and primitive, but man, are they a ton of fun!

Yes! I am actually designing a house for one of the Alford’s right now. He designed and built my “Riley Stables” sign that hangs on garage #1.

Nevermind the messy extension chords, power washer, etc. laying all over the place! Doing too many projects around the house and the rain snuck up on me, so everything is unplugged and just laying out there until next time....
