Quick help needed on 61 assembly

Default Quick help needed on 61 assembly

I dont have access to the AIM rt now
Can someone look to see if the hood release cables route above or below the pedal hanger in a 61-62 ?
Post here or pm me please.
under the dash and stuck presently. :-/

Here is the sheet from my 1960 AIM. I would think a 61 would be nearly identical to a 60. If not, please ignore my post.

The diagram doesn't show the pedal assembly or steering column, but my cables run from the handle and loop up over the top of the pedal assembly. The cables are hard to see in the diagram, but the dashed lines are the cables.

Naturally you want to route them so there are not any sharp bends or kinks in the cable.
