I have a 65 with red interior. I'm recovering my seats with red leather seat covers from Al Knoch. I want to paint the dash, seat backs and other color interior pieces. What paint are people using? I would love to see some pictures if you have them. If you have the paint codes, that would help me get something mixed to spray on.
Thanks
The factory interior paint codes for red I have for 1965 Corvette are:
PPG Ditzler/Duracryl 71497 for low gloss
PPG Ditzler/Duracryl 71491 for full gloss
These are from old PPG paint books furnished by TCP Global.
No info on Dupont codes from this website. The Chevrolet Service News for 1966 and 1967 shows these same paint numbers for these 66-67 years, and has the Dupont equivalents as 9188-LM (71497) and 4688-LH (71491). Dupont lacquer is Lucite.
