[C2] Dashboard Extension Rods

My fuel gauge is being repaired and I've already got LED cluster replacement bulbs in hand. When the gauge gets back I'll be installing the LEDs.
On a 63, yes you can scoot the cluster forward enough on the extension studs with the oil line attached to get at the small gauges or cluster light bulbs - on other years, I can't say.

Was looking around for info on removing the radio from my '66 when I happened upon a Corvettedennis YouTube video using dashboard extension rods to bring the dashboard forward. The are 5" or so threaded rods that replace the screws in your dash that allow you to move the dash in to help you get behind it. Has anyone seen these rods? Where can I get some?

The rods in picture , #4 are common "all-thread" 1/4" x 20 from Ace Hardware with double nuts on the end tightened against one another to make a "head" on the rods. About 15 minutes work and you'll have them forever.
You don't really need 5, 3 will even work, 4 is better...
