Yeah, I remember the days when those options weren't anything I was interested in. I owned a '69 Torino GT, 351 Cleveland block, 4-speed, radio and nothing else. One of my favorite cars from my younger days. I don't think I'd enjoy it as much as an older guy.
As far as AT, I was facing that prospect. My choice was either knee surgery or an automatic. Got a new knee last April.

I'll comment on this topic each time it comes up, share my experience and opinion and those that feel I'm whining, complaining, b!tching, whatever can "get over it"...
I think its called the First Amendment or something like that. Nobody has to read anything I post and the forum "Ignore" function is quite elegant

When I made the suggestion that people just not read my posts or ignore my posts if they didn't like them (while I was looking for a car) I got raked over the coals for it.
I have never understood the phenomenon on social media where people think it is more appropriate for them to object to posts / topics than it is to just stop reading them.
It is almost like they have appointed themselves the social media police.
This is a general observation, and not specifically directed at any one person or group of persons.
Exercising my first amendment right...

As I've said before ................
One opinion on an issue, one solution to a problem, one way of doing business, all like minds would make this a very dull, boring and uninteresting place.

Like my 'ole grandpa used to say, "...if we all liked the same things everybody would be after grandma!"
