64 radio speaker install
I'm in the process of installing original speaker, and I need a little help. I have the clock, radio, and defroster vent out of the car. Do I put speaker in first followed by the defroster vent second or the vent in first? It seems if the vent is in I can't get the speaker to fit. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Ernie

I've installed speakers several times with ALL of those other items installed...although its easier with the clock out..
Pile a few heavy books on top of a towel atop the speaker grill while installing the speaker; it'll save you from things moving around during the process.
