Trying to follow 65silververt's thread installing my Sniper but ran into my first problem. I am unable to run the fuel line over the rear tub along the frame rail as in his picture below. I have this unknown part (can't find it in the Factory Assembly Manual) shown below. Is the coupe frame different than the vert? Or does silververt have a custom frame? It looks like I might have room for the fuel lines if I remove that part but not sure. Otherwise the only option I can see that doesn't involve making some cuts in the floor pan is to run the fuel lines over the the tub and into the drive shaft/transmission tunnel and that does not appeal to me at all. Any ideas?

That's the seat belt safety cable, bolts to the seat belt plate in the floor and the frame.

I used the original line as my return and ran a new supply line along the frame. Clearance between body and frame is just enough for 3/8 tube.
