Thought I'd share some pics of the breakdown of the 55 I'm restoring. This past week I diassembled the frame and started the engine. I still have a long way to go but it is fun journey. I documented a lot of the parts taken off. Most of the bolts either had a small center dot or the letter R. I've seen the little dot in the judging book (hood hinge, etc). R bolts were neat to see.
Don't forget to take a Good Pic of the VIN Stamp on the Frame, before & after the Sandblasting.....
And any Stencil markings that might be there...
