Where are Restomod guys putting trans cooler?

I'm running LS, Vintage AC, 4L60E

Not really any room up front with the AC....

Pictures of mounting locations and trans lines would be appreciated...

Most radiators for automatic-equipped cars have an internal trans cooler. If you swap to an auto radiator, you won't need to modify or bolt on anything. Just install the lines and go.

True but.......an internal rad will cool to rad temp which is normally 195F and above - reason Most external towing packages route the line from the trans to the rad out of the rad to an external cooler and then back to the trans.
The new GM trans do not - in fact they do not recommend an external cooler.... the new Dex 6 fluid - normal temp is in the 200 F range
the "max" temp is around 260.
My 2016 LS with a 6 sp and tow package has no external cooler

This, and the fact that this is a car that won't likely be seeing any tow duty, and also the fact that lock-up converter automatics generate very little heat when in operation compared to non-lock up transmissions. For these reasons, an internal cooler inside the radiator would be the O.P's best solution, IMO.

I have this same set up with my new Vintage AC and 4L60E automatic transmission on my Resto-Mod C2 Corvette. The electric fan radiator is in front, AC radiator in the middle, followed by the 4L60E automatic transmission cooler.

I have a question about your 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission. Where did you place the automatic controller box?? The directions say not to place in a hot place or outside of the car due to dampness.
