Default Firewall paint

Looking for suggestions of firewall, and wheel well paint.

I want the original sheen, or as close to as possible.

Thanks,

Pat

I never worried about what is was. I repainted mine with semi-gloss black. Dennis

Not sure where you are in your project, Pat, but just a reminder: when I was stripping my undercarriage of incorrect paint and undercoat, I removed a bit of the job number found low on the firewall on the RH side before realizing it was there.

Just in case this matters to you.

Thanks Steve,

I was actually hoping to salvage the body numbers, but just really couldn't if I wanted to get it clean.

I did take pictures so I can duplicate them.

Thanks,

Yeah, when I started stripping and cleaning, the firewall on that side had the job number covered up. When I started to get stuff off, I could see it. Not exactly something I could preserve.

But like you, I have photos showing the "406" and where it goes.

That's cool stuff. Does it match all your other locations? Rear bulkhead, both doors?
