C2 windshield molding clips
Also, my experience with my November built coupe which I stated above. I can also report that a dozen or so years ago I purchased a set of clips from a fellow on eBay that was parting a 63 wreck and selling the last side reveal molding. In his picture of what was left of the car, showing the molding he was selling I noticed that the windshield frame still had the clips attached so I sent him a email and ended up buying them. They were exactly as mine were with the thin clips showing a broken end.
Finally, take a look at Pat's post "Starting restoration on the 63" and on post #70 the windshield clips and location are clearly shown again with the broken/sniped end on the thin clips. Pat's car has had a replacement glass installed at one time but IMO the clips are all original. What's interesting is in post "84 he shows 18 clips from the lower molding. That is why I suggested this number may have been a moving target as the AIM and shop manual mentions a different number, 13 lower (coupe and convertible) and 11 upper for coupe.
It's a good post because it seems like so many people get into trouble with this trim and clip thing and the 1963 model year, well it's interesting to say the least. And last there is the reproduction business where nothing seems right compared to the original stuff and people find that out after they have installed the glass and try to install the trim.

theres also reference to another windshield install thread by Twan Sloot that might also provide info if you look it up.
