Corvette Connection Florida
I’m looking for info on Corvette Connection of Pompano Beach Florida. It went out of business close to 20 years ago but does anyone know the any employee’s from back then? I believe Paul Alexander was the owner. I’m curious but I know it’s a long shot.

I remember Corvette Concepts in Pompano, but not Corvette Connection.

You might be right. I was told it was Corvette Connections. It looks like Corvette Concepts went out of business in '92, so that's probably it. Do you know anyone that worked there?
There was a company in Florida called The Connection, that went out of business roughly 15 years ago. They were an auto parts wholesale company, that sold AC Delco and other brands to collector car companies. There was a woman sales rep there that specialized in selling parts to Corvette vendors. At the moment, her name escapes me, but she was my rep and I may still have her name at the office. I know she was still in Florida a couple years ago. I could possibly have an old price list, or other info about The Connecrtion, at my shop. I'll try to remember to look around, when I get in on Tuesday.

The owners of the shop were Paul and Maria Alexander. They were in business from ‘81-‘92, as far as I can tell. They started another corvette business two years later in Boca Raton under a different name, but still Corvette and it looks like it went out in ‘02.
I have a business card of a Paul D'Alessandro owner of Corvette Experience located at 903 NE 42nd St, Oakland Park Florida 33334, 954-563-3030 . Maybe this is who you are asking about.
I was there about 5 years ago. Not sure if his business is still going.
There is a 67 Corvette stored in my garage that was bought from corvette connections in Florida the owner got ripped off by that place and was stuck with this car it hasn’t moved out of my garage in 20 years. Maybe there some paperwork in the car with names on it or I can contact the owner and see if he has any information.

There's more to this story...please share. I can't equate getting "ripped off" and car not moving for 20 years. Just curious.
I grew up in Pompano Beach, and there was a company there that went bankrupt about 20 years ago. As I recall, the saga was that the company took Corvettes on consignment, but as part of the consignment agreement, actually took title to the cars. In the bankruptcy, the court determined that the cars were assets of the company, and the cars were subsequently sold to pay the creditors. So, a number of consignors lost their cars. It was a pretty ugly situation.
The company I'm recalling may have been Corvette Connections, but I'm not absolutely sure. It wasn't Corvette Experience--Corvette Experience is still in business, and as far as I know has a good reputation.

Who on earth would agree to such a thing?? If I am giving title you are giving FMV cash or end of convo.

Bingo, that’s the one I’m talking about. I’m told it was Corvette Connection and Paul Alexander was the owner.

I think it was actually "Corvette Collection", based on a check of the Florida Division of Corporations. Paul Alexander was an officer and/or registered agent for several companies with variations of that name.
Here are a couple of old CF threads mentioning it (trigger warnings for these):

when the owner of this car looked at it it was all apart and paint stripped. They wanted $25,000 down for them to restore the car and give it to them. They showed him examples of the restoration work and he agreed to do it. A few months later they notified him the car was done and when he got there it was not anything like the ones that they showed him. They told him it had an original engine. They did not lie it was an original engine out of a Chevy pick up truck. They said the car was red with a white interior. They put on a remade trim tag. It was yellow with black under the carpet. They put on used bumpers that needed chrome, they put on a used convertible top that was Damaged, they put in a used seats. The car was a mess. He told him he wanted his money back they refused. So he had to pay the difference another $25,000 to get the car. He flew to Florida from Pennsylvania to pick the car up, the car only made it a few miles up the street before it died, They advised him where he can get it fixed but don’t bring it back to them. He found a shop and got the car running again and then it made it to Virginia With another problem. Got it repaired again and headed home he was bringing the car to my house for me to look at and when he pulled in the driveway two of the brake calipers let loose on the driveway. Today you would easily win a lawsuit and get all your money back. But he chose to keep the car and because of the issues on the car he’s afraid to take it anywhere so here it sits.

Yup I remember it as Corvette Collection. When I was younger we used to visit my grandparents in Ft. Lauderdale during the summer and my dad and I would visit CC just to look around. They had quite the selection and I remember one of the sales people telling my dad that most of the inventory was on consignment.
