1965 Coupe Rear Bulkhead Vinyl Attachment
Working in the rear of my 1965 coupe and noticed the ends of the vinyl material in the rear bulkhead area. They are just hanging loose on either side. Did the original ones come this way or have the ones in the car I am working on worked their ways loose and they should be attached to the sides?
Thanks - Hunter

I have also had trouble in that area. I noticed the corners of mine are doing the same thing. I used contact adhesive and it seamed to hold for about 2 years.

They should be glued down. But finding a glue that will hold is another story. If you are installing a new one make sure every surface is clean and dry before you glue.

Chevy couldn't figure out what adhesive to use on the coupe rear vinyl either, so in '67 they quit trying and just painted the upper portion of the rear bulkhead.
